Black Doubles - Salmon Flies:

These are the most widely used standard salmon fly hooks and are appropriate for almost all conditions. Typically our range of hooks are tied on VMC hooks which are more than adequate for almost all Atlantic Salmon fishing.

Silver & Gold Doubles - Salmon Flies:

Salmon doubles tied on silver and gold hooks give a totally different character and appearance to both standard fly patterns as well as giving birth to a great many new styles of fishing flies.

Partridge Doubles - Salmon Flies:

Our salmon flies tied on Partridge doubles are ideally suited for locations where you can expect a significantly heavier average size of fish. For Norway and the Northern Rivers of Russia’s Kola Peninsula flies tied on these hooks should be mandatory!

More commonly associated with tube hooks Loop doubles are very strong and robust. They are perfectly suited to destinations such as Norway & Russia where powerful rivers and large salmon are the norm.

Salar salmon double hooks were designed by Swedish angler Mikael Frodin for the discerning fly tier and angler. The hook has a unique tapered eye and an incurved point. Silver, black and gold hooks make a good salmon fly look excellent and our excellent salmon flies look sublime.
