The Pot Belly Pig is a relatively new fly on the scene of UK Salmon fishing, but has proven to be one of the most prolific shrimp imitations. Tied in array of colors it has become one of the most popular recent salmon fly designs of recent times.  The fly borrows some key characters from such successful flies as Frances and traditional Irish Shrimp Flies.
