The original design for the Alphonse crab came from the Flexo crab and was origianlly modified by James Christmas a guide on Alphonse Island. It was then further morphed and modified by Alec Gerber into the beast it now is. This fly has accounted for more permit and tiggerfish on Alphonse than any other fly.  Tied in numerous colours for the varying conditions you might experience there. This fly is a must have for fishing in the Seychelles.
